There are 2 ways of installing fascia boards, the 10mm cladding system or the 18mm full replacement.

Firstly, the 10mm cladding system is where we remove your old guttering and then inspect the original timber fascia boards to identify any sign of rotten wood. If found, this is replaced with either new timber or exterior pay wood. Once that is done, the 10mm upvc fascia boards are fitted over the top.

Secondly, a full replacement is where we removed all of the existing wooden fascia boards and install new 18-25mm uPVC fascia boards. Because we survey the property comprehensively, we are able to advise on which system is best suited for your situation. We are also able to mix and match both cladding and replacement systems to make it more cost effective if this is appropriate for you.

Fascia boards are available in both OG and plain square edge boards. We offer all standard colours from white, black, brown etc. right through to blues, green, greys and reds. We can even have your fascia boards custom sprayed virtually any colour, including a pink wood grain!

VENTILATION

Fascia boards provide important ventilation and damp prevention to the roofline, but they can also be difficult and time-consuming to maintain, Home Trim UK can supply and fit upvc Fascia Boards which only need a wipe over to clean taking all the hard work out of preparing and painting wooden types of fascia boards. Over 90% of installations of upvc fascia boards are just cap covers, basically, this is just a cap that is placed over existing timber work.
